Willow Springs Center in Reno, Nevada is seeking a Therapist Intern to join our inpatient program serving youths aged 6 to 17. You will perform assessments, create treatment plans, and work on an interdisciplinary team delivering group, individual and family therapy while documenting progress.

You will engage in discharge planning, coordinate with community providers, handle crisis interventions, and support families as part of a dynamic clinical staff dedicated to high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or similar field.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting preferred.
• Must possess licensure as an LCSW-Intern, LCPC-Intern or MFT-Intern. Will be required to submit evidence of licensure at the time of interview.
• Applicant must obtain LCSW or LCPC license within 6 months of completion of intern hours to maintain employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical services in an inpatient program, including assessments and treatment planning.
• Serve on an interdisciplinary treatment team and document interactions and progress in patient charts.
• Deliver group, individual and family therapy; participate in discharge planning.
• Address crisis situations and hostil behaviors in line with facility interventions; collaborate with community providers.
