Job summary

Willow Springs Center in Reno, NV seeks a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a physician-led team in a residential treatment setting with PHP/IOP services. The role focuses on evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for youth aged 6-17.

You will participate in admissions, follow-up visits, and discharge evaluations while leading weekly treatment team meetings and collaborating closely with families and community providers.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and board certification/eligibility in psychiatry.
• Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship required.
• Nevada license or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Manage medications for children and adolescents.
• Handle admissions, follow-up visits, and discharge evaluations.
• Lead weekly treatment team meetings with multidisciplinary staff.
• Collaborate with families and community providers to coordinate care.
