Job summary

The Greater Green Bay YMCA is seeking a Youth Outreach Specialist to deliver mission-driven programs for youth ages 8-14, fostering growth, belonging, and core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

You will lead activities across mind, body, and spirit; build relationships; partner with staff and schools; maintain a safe, inclusive environment; and handle admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of youth programming experience; one year preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• CPR/First Aid certifications within 60 days of hire; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and activities using established curriculum.
• Foster authentic relationships with youth through positive behavior and active listening.
• Facilitate diverse program offerings including physical play, creative exploration, and SEL.
• Collaborate with department leaders and school partners to update curriculum.
• Complete administrative reports including mileage logs and program updates.
• Support expansion of programming to new schools and communities.
