Job summary

St. Joseph’s Villa in Virginia is seeking a compassionate Youth Rapid Rehousing Case Manager to assist young adults, ages 18–24, experiencing homelessness, in securing permanent housing and building stability.

You will collaborate with landlords, community partners, and service providers to address barriers, develop individualized housing plans, and support clients toward independence through case management, housing subsidies, and access to resources.

Qualifications

• At least one year of directly related experience working with homeless or housing-insecure young adults.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to travel locally for client visits, meetings, trainings, and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist young adults in obtaining and maintaining safe, affordable housing.
• Participate in client intakes and assessments to identify housing barriers and develop stabilization plans.
• Coordinate move-in activities, utilities deposits, and household supplies.
• Build relationships with landlords and community partners to expand housing opportunities.
• Provide case management and connect clients with community resources.
• Follow up to ensure referrals and services are connected.
