Job summary

TGTHR seeks a Part-Time Peer Support Specialist in Boulder, CO, to provide assistance, advocacy, and recovery support for youth clients transitioning from homelessness to stable housing. The role emphasizes using lived experience to empower clients and connect them with on-site resources and community services.

Candidates should have lived homelessness/mental health experience, stable housing for at least two years, and active recovery.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with homelessness and mental health or substance misuse.
• At least two years of stable housing.
• At least two years of active participation in personal recovery.
• High school diploma or GED; work experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one peer support using lived experience to validate clients.
• Facilitate group peer support sessions and foster a trauma-informed environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete documentation in Salesforce.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan client services.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
