Job summary

TGTHR is seeking a Part-Time Peer Support Specialist at the 1440 Pine location in Boulder, CO. You will provide individual peer support, group sessions, and advocacy to help clients transition from homelessness to stable housing.

Candidates with lived experience in homelessness and mental health or substance misuse are encouraged to apply. The role requires flexibility, trauma-informed approach, and strong teamwork with multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Lived experience with mental health, substance use, or homelessness and ability to model recovery.
• High school diploma or GED; work experience may substitute for a degree.
• At least two years of stable housing and two years of active recovery involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one peer support using lived experience to validate clients.
• Assist clients in identifying and overcoming stigma related to mental health and homelessness.
• Respond to crises using trauma-informed care.
• Encourage active participation in recovery and housing transitions.
• Maintain client feedback and document services in required systems.
