Job summary

Covenant House California seeks a Housing Resource Center Manager to lead Alameda County’s HRC program from Oakland and Hayward. You will supervise staff, coordinate staffing, and oversee housing problem solving and prevention efforts for transition-age youth.

You will ensure timely housing assessments, strengthen community partnerships, and maintain program quality and data integrity in collaboration with finance and CES teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; BA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in homeless services with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Experience with Coordinated Entry, HMIS, outreach, and housing programs preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management to HRC staff.
• Coordinate staffing to maintain coverage at Oakland and Hayward locations.
• Oversee eight HRC service categories and youth-centered services.
• Monitor data quality, reporting, and program budgets with staff.
• Ensure housing assessments within 45 days of initial engagement.
• Lead weekly field outreach and build partnerships with community providers.
