Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands is seeking a Health & Wellbeing Youth Development Professional to lead social-emotional learning, nutrition education, and wellness initiatives across four Omaha clubs. You will foster teamwork, inclusivity, and healthy lifestyles while delivering engaging activities for members.

You are part of BGCM's Program Excellence Team, reporting to the Program Lead, and will grow through coaching, feedback, and a clear career pathway.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct youth work experience in a development-focused setting.
• Strong understanding of child/adolescent development and engagement strategies.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead social-emotional learning, resilience-building, and wellness activities for youth.
• Coordinate nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, and healthy choices.
• Organize intramural sports, clinics, and tournaments across four Clubs.
• Develop strategies to increase participation and retention.
• Track participation, attendance, and outcomes for program evaluation.
