Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford is seeking a Health & Wellness Manager to lead a comprehensive program across gym, game room, kitchen and other spaces. You will supervise Youth Development Professionals, design developmentally appropriate activities and ensure programming aligns with BGCH standards and youth outcomes.

Working with the Club Director and other managers, you will drive youth participation, oversee budgets and equipment, build community partnerships, and ensure safe, engaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least two years of experience working with youth, including leading groups and facilitating programs.
• Proven ability to manage, coach and lead staff.
• Experience planning, implementing and evaluating sports, recreation, fitness, health or youth development programming.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee a comprehensive Health & Wellness program across multiple spaces.
• Supervise Youth Development Professionals assigned to Health & Wellness spaces.
• Develop program schedules and ensure staff are prepared to facilitate activities.
• Oversee budgets, equipment, and resources for Health & Wellness spaces.
• Build partnerships with schools, families, and community organizations to enhance programming.
