Job summary

VisionQuest is seeking a Medical Coordinator to lead clinical support for youth in residential and community-based settings. You will oversee non-clinical health service delivery, coordinate medical care, and ensure timely interventions in collaboration with medical providers.

The role requires LPN/LVN or RN licensure, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong documentation and communication skills. Travel and on-site responsibilities are involved as part of comprehensive youth health support.

Qualifications

• 1 year in public healthcare with care coordination or direct clinical care.
• Licensed practical or vocational nurse (LPN/LVN) or RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Current license to practice in the employment state.
• Supervisory experience preferred for medical coordinator roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliant medical records for each youth admission.
• Coordinate timely medical, dental, and related services with local providers.
• Arrange transportation to medical appointments with staff assistance.
• Collaborate with health professionals on licensing, immunizations, and safety standards.
• Support staff during appointments and assist with medications per policy.
