Job summary

The LVN/Medical Coordinator role at Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) places you at the heart of youth health, safety, and support. You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate medical services, and ensure regulatory compliance to meet each youth’s medical needs.

You will perform nursing assessments, monitor vital signs, manage medication administration, and schedule appointments with providers to ensure timely care. Bilingual English/Spanish ability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LPN/LVN license in good standing or a BSN with an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital, clinic, or health care setting.
• Valid driver’s license with MVR standards and insurance eligibility; driving required.
• CPR and First Aid or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate medical services for youth.
• Assess, facilitate, and monitor medical needs; manage medication administration.
• Perform nursing assessments including vital signs and health screenings on admission.
• Schedule and track medical, dental, and specialty appointments in a timely manner.
