Job summary

Goldbelt Heritage Foundation seeks a Project Coordinator – Náakw Daat Yéi Jiné (Working Around Medicine) in Juneau, Alaska. This grant-funded role coordinates activities, partnerships, and evaluation to prepare high school youth for healthcare careers within the Youth & Education program.

The position supports curriculum delivery, stakeholder collaboration, and grant reporting, ensuring culturally responsive, Alaska Native–led programming with strong data tracking and compliance to funding terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in education, healthcare, public health, or related field.
• At least 2 years coordinating youth programs or healthcare/education projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver program activities and events focused on healthcare career exploration.
• Coordinate curricula implementation and experiential learning opportunities (e.g., job shadowing, internships, mentorship).
• Recruit, mentor, and support high school students in the program.
• Build and maintain partnerships with local schools, healthcare providers, tribal organizations, and higher education institutions.
• Monitor program performance to ensure grant compliance and report data for evaluation.
