Job summary

Boston Public Schools is seeking a Health Promotions Coordinator for the ETTH Grant to support OHW initiatives. You will coordinate material development, provide staff training, and liaise with departments to share resources with schools.

This role includes grant reporting and facilitating cross-team meetings with partners. You will work on health campaigns for sexual health, mental health, substance misuse, and related grant strategies while fostering equity and youth engagement across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Health Communications, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Understanding of adolescent health and disease prevention, including sexual health.
• Proficiency with Google Suite applications and Canva.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with project management, communication planning, and health promotions.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop/adapt, and disseminate health campaigns and communications for grant project areas.
• Maintain an e-library of resources related to health and wellness for staff access.
• Adapt, develop, and promote materials for awareness of health resources.
• Coordinate professional development and provide technical assistance to school staff.
• Ensure staff have resources and guidance to implement grant activities and promote campaigns.
• Assist the Data & Evaluation Manager with reporting data.
• Coordinate ETTH Youth Advisory Board and student-led campaigns.
• Develop and update materials for student and family engagement.
• Coordinate meetings across grant leads and partners to plan activities.
• Support grant leadership and assist with grant evaluations and monthly reporting.
