Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, stronger mentorship, and more time for students to build real-world skills. This full-time Youth Development Specialist role is on-site at various Alpha campuses in the United States, including Boston, MA, with relocation support where needed.

You will lead dynamic life-skills workshops, coach students and collaborate with a team to drive measurable growth, with a competitive six-figure compensation and weekly paid salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with K-8 students through teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy, one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students.
• Coach students individually and in small groups using Coachbot analytics and motivation systems.
• Assess life skill mastery and provide targeted coaching until competence is demonstrated.
• Adapt coaching style across elementary and middle school students for different needs.
• Analyze weekly performance data to identify patterns and improve outcomes.
