South Sound YMCA is seeking a Group Leader Assistant to support the Site Director by leading activities and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for youth participants. Responsibilities include monitoring youth, reporting incidents, and maintaining supplies to support program operations.

The role emphasizes equity, inclusion, and positive relationships with participants and staff, with part-time scheduling and benefits as outlined in the YMCA program guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Conscientious, creative and able to direct children with initiative.
• Willing to build positive relationships with children and adults from diverse backgrounds.
• Previous experience with children preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist Site Director in planning and maintaining supplies and materials.
• Monitor the whereabouts of children and report incidents to the Site Director promptly.
• Maintain safe, fair, and supportive environment for all participants.
• Record attendance using site iPad and follow operating procedures.
