Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Youth Group Leader in Haverhill, MA to mentor youth (6–22) and build life skills in a collaborative team. The role emphasizes social-emotional learning, community engagement, and family-centered care, with afternoon/evening shifts and Saturday availability.

This position includes transportation responsibilities, flexible scheduling, and ongoing monthly supervision to support professional growth within a health care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field from an accredited university or college.
• At least 6 months of hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, transition-aged youth, or families.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle, and willingness to transport clients.
• Afternoon, evening and Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging groups: plan and co-facilitate sessions focused on social-emotional skill-building, community integration, psychoeducation, and vocational preparation.
• Provide mentorship: deliver therapeutic interventions and group sessions directly within the community for youth and families.
• Be a connector: collaborate with other providers, natural supports, and families to ensure holistic care.
• Drive success: provide and arrange transportation for clients to group activities; mileage reimbursed for approved work-related travel.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and a flexible group schedule that adapts to client needs.
