Job summary

Fox Valley Park District in Aurora, IL is seeking a Gymnastics/Tumbling/Cheer Instructor (Levels I–III) for our Eola/Prisco/Vaughan Community Centers. This part-time/seasonal role supports classes across the week and requires enthusiasm for teaching children of all ages and abilities.

The successful candidate will instruct lessons, follow safety procedures, and contribute to events and meets within a warm, community-focused program.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• USAG certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Instruct class lessons as assigned and assist in preparing lesson plans.
• Develop positive relationships with participants and patrons.
• Follow all safety procedures; participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• General classroom management and instruction of routines; spotting students.
• Assist in equipment setup/cleanup and birthday parties; participate in meets and events.
