Job summary

Fox Valley Park District in Aurora, IL, is seeking a Golf Program Director to lead the Fox Valley Golf Academy, focusing on youth players and program quality.

Under the Racquet and Golf General Manager, you will recruit, develop and retain players, design curricula, supervise staff, and maintain safety and customer service standards. Evening/weekend hours apply. This is a part-time/seasonal role with competitive hourly pay and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Sports Admin, Business or related field and 3+ years related experience.
• Experience overseeing golf programs and leagues; knowledge of park and recreation admin.
• Excellent customer service and strong written/verbal communication; multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Fox Valley Golf Academy programs, camps and leagues.
• Develop and implement youth golf curricula and instructor quality.
• Recruit, develop and retain players; manage program descriptions and staff training.
• Provide program descriptions for brochures; manage schedules and staff training.
