Zusammenfassung

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Recreation Specialist to design and implement recreational and social programs for children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

You will facilitate multiple daily groups, document progress, and collaborate with an integrated treatment team to ensure activities meet therapeutic goals. A Bachelor’s degree and experience with behavior disorders are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Experience with data collection/analyzing platforms and MS Office required.
• Strong organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license must be maintained.

Aufgaben

• Design, create and implement recreational and social activities and therapeutic groups for children and adolescents in inpatient care.
• Facilitate a minimum of 3 groups daily; record progress accurately.
• Maintain inventory for STAR mall and manage schedule/calendar including specials events.
• Collaborate with program supports to ensure activities are therapeutic and appropriate.
