Job summary

The Elizabeth Layton Center in Paola, KS is seeking two Children's Case Managers to join our CBS team. You will provide case management and therapeutic services to youth with SED, primarily in family homes and community settings, reporting to the CBS Coordinator.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, familiarity with mental health theory, and a clean driving record. You will collaborate with a supportive, inclusive team and contribute to ongoing professional growth while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to meet Kansas licensing requirements.
• Familiarity with mental health theory and practice.
• Clean driving record and ability to transport youth when needed.
• Pass security check as required by Medicaid regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in treatment planning and apply interventions.
• Develop personal goals with the consumer.
• Coordinate with area agencies to obtain resources.
• Advocate in Education/Vocation, Residential, Financial, Health, Leisure and Social Supports.
• Educate families on symptomatology and crisis handling.
• Collect program data and produce reports for supervisor.
• Collaborate with other center staff.
• Provide transportation as needed and maintain driving record.
• Meet direct service expectations and deadlines for paperwork.
• Maintain quality documentation and flexible coverage for hours.
• Assist other case managers and fulfill duties assigned by supervisor.
• Complete trainings and comply with ELC policies.
