Job summary

SGA Youth & Family Services seeks an ESL Instructor & Case Manager for the Career Exploration and Employment Preparation Program in Chicago. The role focuses on culturally responsive English language instruction and personalized case management for young adults 18–24, helping them progress toward training, credentials, or employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, or related field.
• Experience with case management or youth programs preferred.
• Experience working with young adults 18-24 preferred.
• Ability to develop individualized service and career plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide ESL instruction and support based on learners' needs.
• Assess English skills and design learning plans.
• Coordinate intake, referrals, and ongoing participant engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and CASAS or equivalent assessments.
• Support participants toward credentials, training, or employment.
