Job summary

ISV USA invites applications for the Summer ESL Teacher position in Chicago. You will deliver pre-designed ESL lessons to teenage students and align with the ISV USA syllabus, under the supervision of the Teaching Manager. The role includes training sessions and classroom preparation.

Hours total 39 per week (30 teaching + 9 hours for breaks, orientation, training, and graduation). A bachelor’s degree, TEFL certificate, teaching credential, and a valid background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the US and be able to pass a background check.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• TEFL certificate and teaching credentials required.
• First aid qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach pre-designed ESL lessons to teenage students across levels.
• Prepare and adapt lesson plans; follow ISV USA syllabus.
• Maintain attendance, student reports, and lesson records.
• Assist with program setup, orientation, and graduation ceremonies.
• Ensure safety and welfare of students and professional conduct.
