Greater Philadelphia YMCA seeks an experienced childcare professional for the 2026-2027 school year. You will nurture children's learning, plan developmentally appropriate activities, and maintain clear communication with families. The role emphasizes a positive, inclusive environment and adherence to program standards.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in an education or human services related field.
• 2+ years verified child care experience (2500 hours).
• Passionate about working with children in a fun, diverse environment.
• Ability to pass all relevant clearances and keep trainings up to date.

Responsabilidades

• Develop engaging ways to help kids learn while maintaining safe environments.
• Plan and implement curriculum with child-centered activities.
• Record weekly child observations and address behavior concerns with parents/guardians.
• Communicate effectively with parents about progress while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain attendance records, emergency binders, and reports within required timelines.
• Ensure learning centers have organized materials and labeled containers.
• Attend monthly team planning meetings as needed.
• Support Annual Campaign by helping develop donors and volunteers.
