Adams 12 Five Star Schools is seeking a Replacement staff member to assist in leading the 21st Century Community Learning Center program, supervising students during education, recreation and enrichment activities. Duties include directing students, monitoring conduct, ensuring safety, and communicating with families and staff.

Position is 0.3 FTE (12 hours per week) in Thornton, CO, with a starting hourly rate of $18.40 and range to $23.25.

Formación

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• One year of high school, vocational school, or equivalent on-the-job training and experience.
• CPR, First Aid and Universal Precautions certifications required within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Assist site directors and leaders to care for, supervise, guide, and assist students during crafts, art projects, games and other educational activities.
• Observe children and monitor building security; prepare snacks and clean areas; distribute medication as directed and provide basic First Aid.
• Create engaging activities and lesson plans to ensure student participation.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding student conduct or program information; record attendance and contact parents for absences.
• Secure the building and equipment; ensure areas are cleaned and radios are charged for the next day.
