Job summary

Covenant House Missouri is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to provide goal-oriented support, direct care, and supervision for youth ages 16 to 24 in a Residential Center. You will lead life skills activities, coordinate group sessions, and ensure a safe, respectful environment aligned with CHMO policies.

Responsibilities include documenting daily logs, coordinating activities, administering medications, and participating in ongoing trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include AA degree in health and/or human services or related field.
• High School diploma or GED with 1+ year of relevant youth-based experience.
• College degree is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth in the Residential Center.
• Ensure facility security and upkeep; report maintenance needs.
• Lead or participate in group activities and youth trainings.
• Administer and record resident medication; maintain youth records.
• Plan community-based and leisure activities for youth; document outcomes.
• Support organizational values such as Housing First and Trauma-Informed Care.
