Covenant House Missouri is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to provide direct care and supervision for youth in a residential setting. You will lead or participate in activities, ensure safety, and support youth toward stability within a trauma-informed framework.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and commitment to CHMO’s Housing First and harm-reduction philosophies. Training and documentation are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• AA degree in health and/or human services or related field.
• High School diploma, or GED and one or more years of experience in youth services.
• College degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth in the Residential Center, following CHMO policies.
• Maintain a secure, well-maintained facility and coordinate with the onsite manager.
• Administer and record resident medication; participate in trainings and staff meetings.
