Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard & Port Hueneme seeks a Teen Empowerment Advisor to provide direct services to youth ages 11-18. You will plan year-round programs, complete intake/orientation, and support youth through ongoing case management.

You will recruit new youth from local middle and high schools, liaise with schools and district staff, maintain Excel records, and coordinate Brent’s Club Program implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, counseling or related field.
• Experience in case management and youth programs is preferred.
• Ability to work with at-risk youth using non-traditional delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement year-round programs for youth
• Provide ongoing case management services for youth
• Recruit new youth from local middle and high schools in Oxnard and Port Hueneme
• Coordinate meetings with school staff and district personnel
• Maintain youth records in Excel tracking sheets
• Support Brent’s Club Program implementation at local schools
• Engage families to increase youth retention
• Represent the organization to schools and external partners
• Perform other duties as assigned
