Job summary

Thompson seeks a Youth Partner to engage and mentor youths in the Thompson Youth Stabilization department, supporting treatment plans and empowerment of self-advocacy. Transportation is provided with reimbursement; you will respond to crises and maintain accurate documentation for caseloads.

The role requires irregular hours with most activities in the afternoons and evenings, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-based care across the Carolinas and beyond.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Human Services preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience with the population served.
• Valid Driver’s License and must meet credentialing/privileging standards as applicable.
• Drug screening and extensive background check required.

Responsibilities

• Engage and mentor youth to support their treatment plans.
• Empower self-advocacy and provide transportation with reimbursement.
• Respond to crises and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Manage your own schedule; conduct service visits and youth engagement in afternoons/evenings.
