Job summary

Bay State Community Services is seeking Youth Advocates to guide youth toward stability and success. The role emphasizes empowerment, strong communication, and safety in a home-like setting, with a schedule including evenings and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Desire to work with youth and empower them.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to act as a positive role model and advocate for youth.
• Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive as required to supervise and accompany youth.
• Spend time with and supervise 9 youths in a home-like environment.
• Provide support, encouragement, and homework help to youth.
• Help youth with service goals, coping skills, and behavior management.
• Maintain overall safety of youth in the program.
• Schedule includes weekend and evening shifts.
