Zusammenfassung

The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) seeks a program coordinator for the Young Adult Borough Center (YABC) and Learning to Work Center at Thomas Jefferson Campus High School. This evening program supports NYC high school students and young adults pursuing diplomas, combining academics with work readiness, case management, and paid internships.

Minimum 4 years of career exploration experience, preferably with youth 17–21.
Experience in high school or post-secondary settings preferred.

Aufgaben

Recommends qualified candidates for paid internships.
Monitors job postings and contacts candidates for interviews.
Follows up on applicant status through the interview process.
Collects and reviews internship paperwork; prepares participant reports.
Counsels candidates on work readiness and procedures.
Runs LTW weekly workshops and coordinates external presenters.
Manages daily operations to assist students in obtaining employment and training.
Develops data collection for outcome measures and annotates records.
Arranges program presentations and recruits local businesses for internships.
