Job summary

LifeWorks is seeking an Employment Specialist to deliver community-based supported employment and education services for youth and young adults using the Individual Placement & Support model. You will help clients locate meaningful employment aligned with their goals, build employer relationships, and maintain documentation in compliance with contracts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
• Two years of related experience with youth/young adults preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-centered, trauma-informed in-person supported employment services.
• Develop and monitor individual employment/education plans with clients.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate case records and documentation.
• Attend job fairs and outreach events to promote the program in the community.
• Coordinate with employers, education partners, and internal teams to place clients.
