LifeSTEPS is a nonprofit organization focused on affordable housing and supportive services. The Program Coordinator will design and coordinate after-school programs in Sacramento, empowering children from low-income families with education and resources.

Under the Regional Director of Social Services, you’ll partner with the DSS to deliver high-quality services, ensuring safety and compliance while engaging families and communities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a similar environment providing services.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Valid California Driving License and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and coordinate activities and programs within assigned housing complexes.
• Provide after-school education and resources to empower children from low-income families.
• Ensure a safe, caring space for homework help and academic enrichment; support families as needed.
