Job summary

LifeSTEPS is seeking a Director of Social Services/Program Coordinator to empower residents through education, case management, and supportive housing services in Vallejo, CA. The role also supports after-school programming to aid academic enrichment for children in a nonprofit setting.

This non-exempt position is approx. 15 hours per week, offering a pay range of $21.00 to $28.35 per hour and requires a CA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field.
• Two years of experience in a similar environment providing social services to multi-families, seniors and children.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree. A nonprofit background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and resources to empower residents and families.
• Perform client assessments, case management, service coordination, and community outreach.
• Oversee After School program to assist with homework and enrichment for children.
