Job summary

College of Lake County seeks innovative adjunct faculty to develop curriculum and teach middle and high school students across multiple campuses. You’ll deliver engaging youth-focused courses and contribute to intellectual and social-emotional growth.

Required two years of youth-related teaching or volunteer experience, with strong communication skills and ability to differentiate instruction. Part-time, in-person or hybrid delivery, at Grayslake Campus and other sites.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience teaching, coaching, or volunteering with youth.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for both advanced students and those needing support.
• Clear background check and ability to work with diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach in the assigned subject(s) and level(s) for new or existing programs.
• Fulfill administrative requirements, meet deadlines and complete required training including Title IX compliance.
• Schedule varies; in-person and virtual delivery modes possible, with a hybrid option.
• Follow College and department policies and procedures.
