Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Specialist in Columbus, OH. The role involves delivering Therapeutic Behavioral Services, helping plan individualized supports, and coordinating treatment options for clients with developmental disabilities and related needs.

You will work with a team of mental health professionals and have opportunities to travel within the assigned service area, providing services to individuals or groups and promoting positive relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation; willingness to travel within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients by consulting with a licensed clinician to assist with the individual's needs.
• Provide service planning for individualized supports or care coordinator of healthcare, behavioral health, non-healthcare services and development of a treatment plan.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote a positive and cooperative relationship with all outside contacts.

$18.20-$20.90 per hour (M-F with some flexibility)

• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
