Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio seeks a Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Specialist to deliver therapeutic behavioral services and collaborate with licensed clinicians to tailor care.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday with some flexibility, requires a related degree or relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel within the service area; a comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients by consulting with a licensed clinician to assist with the individual’s needs.
• Develop service plans or care coordination for healthcare and behavioral health services.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, and restoration of daily life skills.
• Deliver services to individual clients or groups.
• Promote a positive and cooperative relationship with outside contacts.

Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Specialist

$18.20-$20.90 per hour (**M-F with some flexibility)**

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients by consulting with a licensed clinician to assist with the individual’s needs.
• Provide service planning for individualized supports or care coordinator of healthcare, behavioral health, non-healthcare services and development of a treatment plan.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote a positive and cooperative relationship with all outside contacts.

Requirements for this position include:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in a related field or a high school diploma or three or more years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
