Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Behavioral Support Specialist in Ohio. The role offers hourly pay of $18.20–$20.90, with Monday–Friday hours and some flexibility.

The position focuses on therapeutic services, care planning and crisis prevention under supervision, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and trauma. Travel within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients by consulting with a licensed clinician.
• Develop service plans and care coordination of healthcare and behavioral health services.
• Provide linkage, interventions and crisis prevention services.
• Serve individual clients or groups and promote positive relationships with outside contacts.

$18.20-$20.90 per hour (**M-F with some flexibility)**

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients by consulting with a licensed clinician to assist with the individual’s needs.
• Provide service planning for individualized supports or care coordinator of healthcare, behavioral health, non-healthcare services and development of a treatment plan.
• Provide linkage, interventions, treatment options, restoration of daily life skills and crisis prevention services.
• Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
• Promote a positive and cooperative relationship with all outside contacts.

Requirements for this position include:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in a related field or a high school diploma or three or more years of relevant field experience.
• Related experience or training with mental or behavioral health conditions.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
