Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory is seeking a Youth Development Professional to lead the Houston Pasadena Corps Boys & Girls Club programs in Houston, TX. You will plan and supervise activities tied to Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character and Citizenship, and help maintain positive relationships with youth and families.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, supporting program coordinators, and ensuring safe, engaging programming.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; experience with children/youth preferred.
• Commitment to professional development including Level II/III training (20 BGCA hours).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate activities within the program area.
• Support and coordinate Club events like Keystone and Youth of the Year.
• May supervise other Youth Development Professionals to ensure continuity of services.
• Build professional relationships with members and families to advance the mission.
