JOB SUMMARY:
The Youth Development Specialist for Learn 2 Earn ensures that their assigned clients, youth/young adults ages 14 – 24 years old, receive a coordinated range of client-centered services to ensure completion of employment and education programs through the Learn to Earn Program.
CCAP’s Learn to Earn Employment, Training, and Education Programs assist the youth of Rhode Island ages 14 – 24 through free education, training programs, Work Readiness and Job Placement assistance. We provide a full range of services to youth enrolled in school and out of school. All enrollees are connected with a case manager to assist them in their education or employment goals throughout the program.

Has access to program case management records. Maintains confidentiality of all material in accordance with State and Federal law and CCAP policies and procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and to talk to hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The environment is a clinical business office environment. This position requires the individual to have their own transportation, a current unrestricted license to drive, documented auto insurance and the individual must be willing to work in schools, client’s homes and the community.
