Horizons Youth Services at Milwaukee Job Corps Center is seeking a passionate Social Development Manager to lead student growth and development, fostering a supportive environment for our residential program.

The role directs staff delivering residential and recreation services, ensuring programs meet DOL, PRH, Center, and corporate requirements while enhancing student engagement and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

Strong management and leadership skills required.
Experience working with youth preferred.
Ability to supervise multiple staff across residential and recreation programs.

Responsibilities

Direct staff engaged in providing residential and recreation services for all students.
Ensure programs and standards meet DOL, PRH, Center, and corporate requirements.
Coordinate with wellness to handle student medical and mental health issues as appropriate.
Maintain clear, timely communications of critical student information across shifts.
Provide daily reports to the student records office and ensure accountability procedures.
