Job summary

Dade County Federal Credit Union is seeking a Youth Development Representative in the Marketing Department in Doral, FL to support youth programs, coordinate events with schools, and promote financial literacy in the community.

The role requires excellent communication, independent and team work, and willingness to travel across Miami-Dade County. You will collaborate with marketing to run campaigns and manage accounts while working a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent public speaking skills.
• Knowledge of credit union products and services.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe, and Instagram/Facebook.
• Spanish highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with communicating upcoming events, programs and learning opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with local schools, colleges, and universities by providing Financial Literacy resources.
• Maintain Financial Literacy Curriculums up to date (updating PowerPoints, creating new workshops, or implementing new worksheets).
• Represent the Credit Union at community events, trade shows, business meetings, and functions related to schools, youth, and young adults.
• Open accounts via current core system. Ensure regulations and procedures are followed for opening accounts.
• Develop and execute annual Youth Financial Literacy initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Track and report program participation, engagement metrics, and community impact.
• Assist the Marketing Department and Business Development area with events.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create promotional campaigns and social media campaigns for the youth.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Willingness to travel across Miami-Dade County to provide resources to different schools and organizations.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Summary:

This position requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written as well as being organized and efficient to be able to assist with coordinating youth programs between Dade County Federal Credit Union and other community leaders. The successful candidate should also demonstrate ability to work independently or collaboratively within specialized teams of professionals who share common goals and objectives and be someone who is open-minded, willing to learn and able to dedicate their time to educating our young community on the importance of financial literacy.
