Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago is seeking a Program Instructor to prepare and implement youth programs, supervise members, and support program activities. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality youth development experiences and maintaining safe, engaging spaces for children.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s Degree preferred) and 1–2 years of Youth Development experience, with strong communication and behavior-management skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
1–2 years of Youth Development experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate youth and manage behavioral problems.
Ability to interact with the general public and supervise members.

Responsibilities

Prepare and implement youth programs.
Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
Supervise and train volunteers and program assistants.
Maintain attendance records and safety standards.
Participate in team meetings and training opportunities.
Assist with supply and facility maintenance as needed.
