Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a childcare worker to support Child and Youth Services programs at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. You will provide age-appropriate developmental care and instruction for children from 6 weeks to 18 years, and supervise them during daily routines, activities, field trips, and events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• English communication ability in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmental care and instruction for children/youth 6 weeks to 18 years in CYS programs.
• Actively supervise and account for safety during routines, activities, trips, and events.
• Assist in implementing planned activities using prepared curriculum and materials.
• Help arrange snacks or meals for children/youth.
• Identify and respond to emergencies including evacuations and illnesses.
