The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida is seeking a Youth Development Professional - Health & Wellness in Jacksonville to lead health and life skills programs for youth aged 6 to 18, focusing on cybersafety, goal setting, and personal growth. This role plans, supervises, and delivers high-yield activities within a health-focused curriculum.

You will work with a team to recruit youth, track data for grants, ensure a safe club environment, and support program growth.

Competenze

High School diploma or GED.
Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test.
Knowledge of youth development.
Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues.
Ability to plan and implement Health & Wellness programs.
Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.

Mansioni

Plan and implement health and life skills programs for members.
Recruit and retain youth for the health and life skills programs.
Work with other staff to implement these programs throughout the school year.
Track and report student data for grant purposes.
Ensure programs, services and activities promote safety and quality.
Participate in local, state, regional, and national Boys & Girls Clubs programs.
