The role emphasizes recruiting and retaining participants, delivering programs such as Career Launch, DIY STEM, Money Matters, and Summer Brain Gain, and maintaining student grades and data to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass DCF Level II background screening and drug test
• Knowledge of youth development
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues
• Ability to work with the public
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs specific to academic development
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing a variety of Educational programs for members of all ages, including Career Launch, Computer Science Pathway, Diplomas2Degrees, DIY STEM, Money Matters, Power Hour, Summer Brain Gain, Tech Girls Rock, & Ultimate Journey
• Recruiting and retaining youth for educational programs
• Working with other staff in the club to help implement these programs throughout the school year
• Collect and maintain student grades and other educational data
