BGCGKC is seeking a Youth Development Professional in Kansas City, MO. This regular part-time position supports the operations department and reports to the Program Director. The role focuses on planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating activities for Club members.

Responsibilities include creating engaging programs, mentoring youth, ensuring safety, and maintaining administrative tasks. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and relevant experience; CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Formación

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required.
• Experience working with children and knowledge of youth development.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
• Ensure engagement, promote and stimulate participation, and consistent attendance of youth enrolled in activities.
• Establish rapport with youth and provide mentoring, guidance, role modeling to members and overall direction for their leadership development, artistic skills, physical activity engagement and academic progress
• Effectively implement and administer programs, services and activities.
