The YMCA of Greater Richmond seeks a relationally driven leadership development professional to design and deliver staff development for Youth Development site directors. The Professional Development Director will align learning initiatives with the organization's mission and drive program quality through effective training.

The role requires site visits, coaching, and identifying training resources, balancing in-house and outsourced solutions for Y-University, and travel as needed to program

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering staff training and development programs.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning principles
• Proven ability to build relationships, coach staff, and foster team engagement
• Strong communication, organizational, and facilitation skills
• Experience in program management, preferably in youth development or nonprofit settings
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to program sites as needed
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy for Youth Development.
• Visit program sites to observe, coach, and identify training gaps.
• Identify and secure training resources, balancing in-house and outsourced solutions for Y-University.
• Enhance leadership skills, program quality, site management, and operational efficiency
