Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston is seeking a dedicated Youth Development Leader to inspire and guide children in before/after-school and day camp programs. You will help create a safe and engaging environment focused on growth and learning.

This role requires at least 18 years old and a high school diploma or GED. Experience working with youth and a willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training are necessary. Join a mission-driven team and make a lasting impact on children and families.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Six months of experience working with youth in a licensed facility, school, church, or similar setting.
• CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention training (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to plan and lead age-appropriate activities.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Ability to pass state/local background checks and fingerprinting.
• TB test and any required immunizations.
