Job summary

The Lead Youth Development Professional at the Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Plains creates, leads, and evaluates daily youth programming in Brookings, SD, ensuring a safe, positive, and developmentally appropriate Club environment. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of daily programs and activities.
• Encourage member engagement and healthy peer relationships.
• Maintain active supervision and uphold safety standards.
• Provide real-time feedback to Youth Development Professionals and volunteers.
• Document attendance, incidents, assessments, and behavior notes.
• Model positive interactions and Club values.
