Job summary

The Boys and Girls of the Twin Cities (BGCTC) is seeking a Youth Development Instructor to implement programs that promote healthy lifestyles and strong character. This part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality youth development experiences and coordinating station-based activities to engage members.

The role supports a team of Youth Development Professionals, ensuring daily attendance, progress tracking, and appropriate instructional adjustments for diverse youth in an urban setting.

Qualifications

• BA in youth development, education, sociology or related field or two years college in the same fields with extensive experience in implementing youth development programs in urban setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidate must be computer literate in Microsoft Office and have excellent skills in applicable software.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Youth Development programming focusing on Healthy Living & Life Skills and Good Character & Leadership.
• Ensure that all programming is conducted within quality standards aligned with best practices in youth development.
• Set up instructional stations on specific Healthy Living & Life Skills and Good Character & Leadership program activities.
